VRA Atlantic AGM

The 2016 VRA Atlantic Conference took place in the beautiful hub city of Moncton, NB on October 27th & 28th at the Greater Moncton Football Association located at 81 Centennial Park Drive.

Our event last week was well attended, by approximately 25 members and guests, representing all four Atlantic provinces. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive and we look forward to another great event in 2017!

One of the presentations was facilitated by Mike Malone ([email protected] / 902-536-4-029) and Carolyn Moore ([email protected] / 506-247-0648), regarding CPP’s vocational rehabilitation services. At their request, both are both receptive to being contacted, if you have any questions. The remaining speakers and content from the presentations can be obtained by contacting the VRA Atlantic Secretary Doug Ellis at [email protected]

The existing board has agreed to continue with their second year in each position with a wonderful addition of one more person. We welcome Sumaiya (Bagee) Hawkins from St. John’s NL to the VRA Atlantic board, and look forward to her bringing her professional support and her wonderful energy into the group. Thank you and a huge welcome to Sumaiya!
